There are many sites that specialize in job searches and many of the sites allow employers to post positions. The following are the primary Web job search engines. If you are aware of others, please let us know.

America's Job Bank : The largest number of jobs posted in one place is found here . This site is said to have over 100,000 jobs with a great variety. The procedure for finding jobs requires using job codes and is somewhat cumbersome. It is maintained by the Department of Labor so it lacks pleasing commercial design and user friendly features. bankjobs.com - Jobs For Bankers - Online : This site is ideal for both employers and employees. Thousand of bank jobs are listed and resumes can be posted. http://www.bankjobs.com/    


CareerBuilder Network : This site has a very serious focus on employer needs, but is a valuable resource to employees as well.  www.careerbuilder.com    


Careerpath : Classifieds from more than 65 newspapers, including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Boston Globe. www.careerpath.com      


Careermosaic : One of the best is Career Mosaic. This huge site can search for jobs using a job description, job title, company, city and state or country. The site is found at: http://www.careermosaic.com/


Career Site : Feature= Anonymous profile listing. This site has e-mail notification and services for employers and employees.  This site features MyCareerSite, the only confidential career service that lets you market yourself anonymously. Your anonymous profile becomes part of our searchable job candidate database. If an employer is interested in you based on your profile, you decide whether or not to forward your resume. Dice : High Tech Jobs only.   Employees search for free, employers may list jobs for a fee. http://www.dice.com/


4work : 4work emails you the job postings. Sites includes listings of internship and volunteer services. www.4work.com   


Exec - U - Net :   This site is designed for the $100,000+ executive. This is an executive job, career and networking organization.  Employers and job seekers are served by this firm.  Job seekers pay a fee.   http://www.execunet.com/    


 E.Span : Another pioneer in online employment center.  They will e-mail participants job opportunities.  www.espan.com   


HeadHunter.Net :  Over 100,000 job postings.  This site is completely free and allows posting of jobs for employers and the posting of resumes.   http://www.headhunter.com/   


Hoovers : Provides one of the Web's best company search. This service provides in-depth (at a price) and brief, but adequate, (free) descriptions of over 10,000 companies. It is very easy to search using its search engine which keys off of country, state, and industry. Therefore, if you are interested in finding banks in Europe, this is the place to go. A very useful feature is that once you receive the results of a search, the listing provides the Web site for companies with sites. Find Hoover at: http://www.hoovers.com


Hot Jobs.com : A member-based site that charges companies to post openings or to search through resumes. Job seekers can manage their search on the site. The page tracks all the jobs they’ve applied for and collects statistic’s on how many companies have retrieved their resume. www.hotjobs.com   


HRNET :  This site is for the employer. HRNET is the largest jobs distribution network in the world. It posts your jobs to high traffic career sites like HeadHunter.net, America's Job Bank, Yahoo! Classifieds2000, Infospace and over 249 employment Newsgroups, hundreds of local, regional and national newspapers, and the highest traffic directories, search engines, and job sites.  http://www.hr.net/

NationJob Network : More than 15,000 jobs nationwide, with an emphasis on those in the Midwest. "P.J. Scout," The site’s personal search agent, is the best out there. If it finds five matching jobs or fewer, It emails you the complete listings. If it finds more than five, it sends links to the postings. www.Nationjob.com    


Online Career Center :  Another huge job search site which allows you to search by industry. It includes job postings, articles, and useful information on career planning. You can also download your resume onto this site. It is found at: http://www.occ.com


Recruiters Online Network :  This is a site for recruiters, executive search firms, employment agencies, and employment professionals.   Thousands of recruiters are registered on the site.    All services for job seekers are free.  Free job search, Free resume posting, and an extensive and searchable online database of recruiters worldwide.    http://www.recruitersonline.com/


Topjobs : This is a site specializing in professionals, managers and technical specialists. It claims over 40,000 jobs postings. Find it at: http://www.topjobsusa.com/


Wall Street Journal Careers : This is a very thorough job search site. There is both free and fee based information. As an example a list of executive recruiters will cost about .25 per name.  This is a good site and employers and employees should utilize this site. http://careers.wsj.com/
